The Lawrenceburg High School football game is in a weather delay for tonight, September 6th. The gates will open at 6:45 pm and the game will start at 7:30 pm (as of now). Go Tigers!
Reminder 8th grade Friday is the deadline to sign up for the Washington DC/NYC trip. If you need more time to make the payment, reach out ASAP as I have to get numbers to the company soon. If you are chaperoning, you must have started the background check by Friday as well.

CHANGE OF TIME 7th & 8th grade football game time for tomorrow at Greensburg has been changed to a 2:00 start. Players need to be at GMS by 11:40 Saturday morning.

The dentist is coming to our school on September 3rd! The School Smiles on-site dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students that signup to participate. The dental team will set up inside our school and they accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their foundation. Registration is now open online at: https://schoolsmiles.com/student-signup/ with over 100 languages to choose from when completing the online form.

8th Grade = will play first game @ 6:30
7th Grade = will follow 8th grade and will play a 1/2 of football game (2 quarters).

Mrs. Walker's 6th grade ELA classes enjoyed listening to the first guest reader of the year, Mrs. Herbert. Guest readers are invited to read the 1st chapter of a book introducing students to different genres of books and encouraging them to check out books from the library.

Fundraiser packets went home today. Please make sure your child got the packet with their name on it. If they did not, send the packet to school Friday and we will get it fixed.

Open house for GMS tonight for parents to meet teachers is 5:00 to 6:30
If your child is in eighth grade at GMS and wanting to attend the DC/NYC trip in May, mark your calendars for the meeting on Tuesday, August 6 @ 6pm in the GMS gym. We also gave handouts to students today at school.
Reminder for 8th grade students who have 1st period at LHS you need to come to GMS first today.
Volleyball tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls will be on July 31st, August 1st , & August 2nd from 3:30 to 5 at GMS. Please make sure your child has a physical on file dated after April 1, 2024 and a change of clothes. They will not be able to try out without the physical.
