LHS Coaches vs. Cancer Game (2/21/20) Information

At the February 21, 2020 Lawrenceburg vs. South Dearborn boys basketball game, LHS will be having our "Coaches vs. Cancer" game.  This is the basketball community's way to raise awareness and funds for the never ending fight against cancer.  In addition to coming to the game, there are lots of ways to contribute to the cause.  With these initiatives and the great support we have in our Dearborn County communities that make up Lawrenceburg and South Dearborn, we think we have a chance at making the biggest donation to Coaches vs. Cancer from any single high school game ever in Indiana.

In addition to coming to the game on 2/21/20, here are several ways to support below.

1) We want to encourage a packed house on 2/21/20 and anyone that is coming to the game to be in the same shirt, and obviously you don't have to come to the game to buy the shirt.  Click on the link below.  Shirts must be ordered by 2/12/20 and pickup instructions are within the link.  All profit goes toward the donation thanks to the generosity of Ohio Valley Screen Printing.

2) We had some fun with a gofundme and have already met the goal that has led to South Dearborn's Coach Reinhardt and Lawrenceburg's Coach Blackwell coaching the game in loud suits.  People can still contribute despite the goal being met already.

3) We are having a pre-game dinner in the LHS cafeteria at 5:30 on Friday, Feb 21,2020.  There will be entertainment from Tiger Pizazz.  The cost is $10 per person and as of now it is limited to 200 people.  People can reserve their spot by emailing Mason Jeffreys at m.jeffreys73@gmail.com.  People will pay that night.

4) The night before the game, we have a LHS vs. SD Alumni game scheduled at LHS.  It will cost $5 to get in and all revenue goes toward the cause.  You might see some former students still trying to get up and down the basketball court!

Thanks for considering supporting this cause!  if you are in a position to forward this along to any Tiger or Knight fans that might be interested, thanks for that as well!
