Lawrenceburg High School and the City of Lawrenceburg’s generosity have saved parents Millions of Dollars through the

Vincennes University Early College.

*Partnership with Vincennes University established in 2011; program endorsed by CELL as Early College HS in 2013.

*Since 2014, Lawrenceburg High School and Vincennes University have awarded 50 students with Associate Degrees in Liberal Arts (60 plus hours of college credit) and 127 Statewide Transfer General Education Core Certificates (30 plus hours of college credit).

*A Lawrenceburg HS Early College Associate Degree student only pays approximately $700.00 over two years thanks to the funding provided by the City of Lawrenceburg and Dearborn Community Foundation.  An Associate Degree student on the Vincennes University campus would pay approximately $10,980.00 for the degree, or $21,740 on average per year at an in-state Indiana university for tuition, books, room, and board

*To date, Associate Degree students or guardians have saved approximately $2,174,000.

*To date, General Education Core Certificate students or guardians have saved approximately $2,760,980.

Lawrenceburg High School and Ivy Tech Community College continue strong partnership; add additional pathway.

*Manufacturing Certification offered since 2016-17 school year.

*Welding Certification offered since 2017-18 school year.

*Software Development Certification added this year (2018-19); exclusively offered to Lawrenceburg High School students.  

*Tuition, books, and fees cost a LHS student $150.00 per course thanks to the funding of Greendale Redevelopment Commission, compared to $700 per course for an on-campus student.

*Class of 2015:  98.6% Graduation Rate.
